Fat removal or Liposuction, is becoming increasingly popular in the UK due to the variety of contouring techniques available to create different results. Liposuction is the removal of unwanted and stubborn fat from problem areas on the body. For men in particular who've been battling to lose excess fat deposits by exercising and dieting, but still have localised areas of fat that are proving difficult to shift, Liposuction can be the answer.
There are different types of Liposuction procedures available (not all involving surgery) and at your first consultation we will be able to discuss these with you and find the best solution for you. If you do have a surgical procedure you may be required to stay overnight in hospital.
Most patients experience a degree of pain and discomfort for a few days after surgery. Recover times vary from 2 to 7 days depending on the amount of treatment you’ve had but it can take 4 weeks or more for the swelling to fully subside.
